Taylor Swift has officially revealed the conclusion date for her monumental Eras Tour. The announcement came during the tour’s 100th show in Liverpool, UK, on Thursday.
“For the first time, I’m acknowledging to myself and admitting that this tour will end in December,” Swift shared with the audience.
In a lighthearted moment, she quipped, “I used to have hobbies.” Swift continued, expressing her gratitude to the fans, “You’ve done so much to be with us. You’ve made plans far in advance, decided what to wear, memorized lyrics, and figured out transportation and parking. I want to spend the 100th show just thinking about that and living in this moment with you. I appreciate every single ounce of effort you’ve put in to be here with us for this milestone.”
Since its inception in March 2023, the Eras Tour has shattered records, becoming the highest-grossing tour of all time with revenues exceeding $1 billion (£783 million).
In October, a film capturing the tour’s essence was released, generating an additional $261.6 million (£204.9 million).
Swift, 34, who boasts 14 Grammy Awards, was officially declared a billionaire in April. The three-hour Eras Tour performance features 44 songs spanning 11 albums. Following the release of her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” in April, the tour’s setlist was updated to include tracks from the new album.
