Melvins and Boris

More than 30 years since their inception, Melvins and Boris continue to lead the heavy music scene. Following their co-headlined Twins of Evil tour last year, the bands have teamed up to release a split album with the help of legendary label Amphetamine Reptile Records. The Melvins/Boris “Twins of Evil” album is set to release on June 30th, available on CD and vinyl.

The album features two high-concept tracks: Side A from Melvins with an exclusive edit of “Funny Equals Pain” and Side B from Boris with “Cry.” Both songs are approximately 20 minutes long, designed for an immersive analog listening experience. The limited-edition vinyl is expected to be an instant sell-out among collectors worldwide. Pre-orders are available now, along with a teaser video showcasing the bands’ first on-stage collaboration from Melvins’ Japan tour this year.

In addition, Boris will embark on a North American tour this fall, performing their acclaimed first album, “Amplifier Worship,” in its entirety. The tour will feature two drummers and an extended backline, promising an unforgettable live experience. Joining Boris on this tour is Starcrawler, a band praised for intensifying the essence of rock ‘n’ roll. Boris comments, “This only takes us further into the beyond, embarking on this worship service. Welcome to the ceremony!”
