Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has been forced to cut short the band’s European tour to return to the United States for an undisclosed emergency surgery.
The band announced the news via social media, stating, “QOTSA regret to announce that Josh Homme must return to the United States immediately for emergency surgery. Every effort was made to push through and play for you, but it is no longer an option to continue.”
As a result, the following shows have been canceled:

Fans have expressed their disappointment but have also extended their well-wishes for Homme’s speedy recovery. The band has yet to announce any rescheduled dates or further details regarding Homme’s condition.
