Country music star Jana Kramer has announced that she will walk down the aisle solo at her upcoming wedding to fiancé Allan Russell. The decision follows her recent birth of her third child and has been a topic of discussion on her latest podcast episode.
Kramer shared that Russell initially inquired if her father would be accompanying her down the aisle. After much deliberation, Kramer chose not to have her father walk her down the aisle. Russell admitted that he was initially unsure about her decision to walk alone. “I questioned it because I just wasn’t aware that you were going to do it on your own,” he said.
Kramer explained her choice to Russell, stating, “It’s a walk that I need to take by myself. I was like, ‘It’s taken me a long time to get here, and I know that this will be the last walk I do alone.’” She added that walking toward Russell solo holds significant personal and symbolic meaning for her, emphasizing its power and sentiment.
Russell expressed his anticipation for the moment, stating, “For me — it’s not cliché, it’s just how I feel — but just watching her walk towards me is the piece I’m looking forward to the most.”
This will be Kramer’s fourth marriage. She previously divorced her third husband, Mike Caussin, in 2021. The former couple shares two children, Jolie and Jace. Kramer has been candid about her past relationships and the challenges she has faced on her journey to this new chapter.
