Country music sensation Morgan Wallen has announced the postponement of his upcoming Charlotte shows due to health reasons. Originally slated to perform at Bank of America Stadium on July 18 and 19, Wallen made the difficult decision to reschedule after battling illness.
In a statement shared on social media Friday afternoon, Wallen expressed his regret, saying, “I hate to reschedule shows but I powered through being sick in Tampa last night, and unfortunately woke up feeling way worse today.”
The new dates for the Charlotte shows have been set for October 18 and 19. Additionally, Wallen has rescheduled his Tampa performance, originally scheduled for Friday, to October 4.
Concert promoter Live Nation assured fans that all previously purchased tickets for the July 18 concert will be valid for the October 18 show, and tickets for the July 19 concert will be honored on the October 19 date. Further details regarding ticketing and refunds will be communicated directly to ticket holders via email.
As of now, information regarding ticket refunds has not been immediately made available.
