Country music fans are gearing up for the start of the 34th annual Country Jam music festival, set to kick off on Thursday at its new location off 20th Avenue in Eau Claire.
Last year’s festival saw its share of challenges with rain, prompting organizers to overhaul the water drainage system to ensure a smoother experience this year, according to festival director Kathy Wright. Alongside a variety of food options and beer tents, attendees can look forward to a diverse lineup of artists.
“We’ve curated an exciting lineup this year,” Wright commented. “From Shan Smith and the Saints to the true cowboy Ian Munsick, and Hardy bringing a rock show on Thursday night. Saturday night will culminate with Thomas Rhett, promising a memorable country music sing-along.”
As the event draws near, attendees should be aware of road closures outlined by the Eau Claire Police Department. These closures will affect certain routes from 10:30 pm to midnight on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, as detailed in a Facebook post.
Country Jam promises a blend of music, community, and entertainment, making it a must-attend event for country music enthusiasts this summer.
