Williamsburg’s nightlife just got a dose of the Wild West with the opening of Desert 5 Spot at 94 Wythe Avenue. This new venue from Ten Five Hospitality, which also operates a Desert 5 Spot in Los Angeles, promises a vibrant mix of country music and Western-themed fun.
The establishment joins the ranks of other local spots like Skinny Dennis and Dolly’s Swing and Dive, offering a lively atmosphere complete with live performances by emerging country artists, the Desert Five House Band, and DJs spinning hits from icons such as Tom Petty, Shania Twain, and Dolly Parton.
Desert 5 Spot features a variety of attractions including line dancing and two-stepping classes, cowboy karaoke, and a mechanical bull. A special area called “Dolly’s Corner” celebrates country legend Dolly Parton with pink suede wallpaper and rare photographs.
“Our goal with Desert 5 Spot is to create a space where people can disconnect from their phones and Instagram to enjoy genuine fun with friends,” said Dan Daley, Managing Partner of Ten Five Hospitality. “We’re excited to bring this concept to New York, a city we still consider home.”
The venue’s cocktail menu highlights tequila and mezcal-based drinks, including the Jolene and Walk The Line, as well as slushies like the Cowboy Colada and Dolly’s Spiked Lemonade. Food offerings feature trail snacks, a variety of tacos, and a “frosty trail treat” for dessert.
Desert 5 Spot aims to deliver a memorable Western experience with a modern twist in the heart of North Brooklyn.
