Tragic Plane Crash Claims Lives of Three Members of The Nelons

Three members of the renowned gospel music quartet The Nelons were tragically killed in a plane crash in Wyoming on Friday, according to multiple reports.

FOX News reported that Kelly Nelon Clark, co-founder of the group, her husband Jason Clark, and her daughter Amber Nelon Kistler were among the seven fatalities in the crash. Autumn Nelon Streetman, the group’s fourth member, confirmed the deaths in a heartfelt statement.

“Thank you for the prayers that have been extended to me, my husband Jamie, and our soon-to-be-born baby boy, as well as Jason’s parents, Dan and Linda Clark,” Streetman said. “We appreciate your continued prayers, love, and support as we navigate the coming days.”

FOX News also reported that Amber’s husband, Nathan Kistler, assistant Melodi Hodges, pilot Larry Haynie, and his wife Melissa were the other victims of the crash.

The loss of Kelly Nelon Clark, Jason Clark, and Amber Nelon Kistler is a devastating blow to the gospel music community, and their contributions to the genre will be deeply missed.
