After an illustrious 25-year career, multi-award-winning country music group Emerson Drive has announced their final tour, “One for the Road: The Final Run,” marking their departure from the live music scene. The Machine Shop in Sault Ste. Marie is set to host one of the exclusive dates on this farewell tour.
The tour, which began in the spring of 2024, includes only 16 to 18 dates across North America, with the band performing at The Machine Shop on August 10 at 8 p.m.
Emerson Drive first gained prominence in 2001 with their debut single through DreamWorks Records Nashville. Their early hits “I Should Be Sleeping” and “Fall Into Me” both reached the Top 5 on the Billboard Country chart, establishing them as fan favorites. Over the following years, the band performed more than 300 shows annually across North America and earned both Billboard Music and ACM Awards.
In 2007, Emerson Drive achieved a major milestone with the release of “Moments,” which topped the Billboard Country charts and made them the only Canadian group to achieve a #1 US Billboard Country single. The band also received a 2008 GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Performance by a Group or Duo.
With over 60 million global streams, 40 billion radio impressions, 22 Top 10 singles, and numerous awards from prestigious organizations, Emerson Drive’s career is a testament to their impact on the country music industry.
