Better Lovers, set to release their debut album Highly Irresponsible on October 25 via SharpTone Records, have revealed their inaugural North American tour dates. The five-week tour will commence on November 3 in Asheville, North Carolina.

The announcement follows the recent release of a preview track from the album, “A White Horse Covered in Blood,” accompanied by a video produced by Eric Richter. Band member Jordan Buckley expressed enthusiasm about the album’s creation, noting, “Writing and recording our first full-length was more methodical than the EP, but retained a similar uninhibited approach. The process felt more like a playground, with moments of profound collaboration and creativity. We were deeply immersed in our own world, developing a unique language and mutual understanding. The self-doubt about embarking on this journey was replaced by grand ideas and a reinvigorated passion for crafting distinctive music. We’re excited for listeners to experience what we’ve created.”

Recorded this spring, Highly Irresponsible benefits from the dual expertise of Will Putney, who serves as both a guitarist and the album’s producer. Putney remarked, “Being both a band member and the producer is a significant advantage for Better Lovers. Our creative process is highly synchronized, allowing us to capture the band’s energy effectively. My role is to ensure the album reflects the band’s full potential and dynamic performance.”

Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time. The tour will feature opening acts Full of Hell (November 3 to December 2), followed by SPY, Cloakroom, and Gouge Away (December 4 to December 8).
