Noughties rap duo Rizzle Kicks have fueled speculation about a possible reunion, nine years after their split. Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule recently took to their joint social media account, posting a cryptic image that has fans buzzing.
The photo features Harley holding a blank piece of paper, accompanied by an emoji of eyes and a sand timer. Their profile picture has since been updated to display four fingers in the air, hinting at a countdown.
This subtle hint has ignited excitement among fans, with many reacting enthusiastically on social media. One fan exclaimed, “It’s a countdown oh my god,” while another posted, “Oh my god it’s happening.” A third added, “Please say you’re coming back.”
Rizzle Kicks gained prominence in the late 2000s with their debut album, Stereo Typical. The duo enjoyed significant success between 2011 and 2013, with hits such as “Down With the Trumpets” and “Mama Do The Hump.” Their collaboration with Olly Murs, “Heart Skips a Beat,” topped the charts. The group disbanded in 2015 following their last release, a cover of “Summertime” by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince.
