Blake Lively has expressed shock and relief following the thwarted terrorist attack targeting Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. Authorities in Austria recently revealed that two teenagers were arrested for plotting to attack Swift’s concerts in Vienna, leading to the cancellation of three scheduled shows. A third suspect was later apprehended in connection with the plot.
In a statement to Access Hollywood, Lively, who is a close friend of Swift and currently promoting her new film, It Ends With Us, said, “Oh, my gosh. I mean, how terrifying. But thank goodness that they are completely on top of that.”
Swift’s Eras World Tour will resume on Friday with five additional shows at London’s Wembley Stadium on August 15, 16, 17, 19, and 20. In response to the foiled plot, a filmed version of the concert, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version), will be broadcast for free in Austria, allowing fans to enjoy the concert from home.
