Post Malone has given a nod to El Paso in his new bluegrass-inspired song, “M-E-X-I-C-O,” featured on his crossover country album F-1 Trillion, which was released on Friday, August 16.
Malone, who has strong ties to Texas, is no stranger to El Paso. He made headlines back in 2018 when he was spotted at Twin Peaks in Sunland Park, New Mexico, drawing a significant crowd.
The song “M-E-X-I-C-O” is a lively, fast-paced track that captures Malone’s reflections on failed relationships, ultimately leading him back to the border. In the lyrics, he encounters a wealthy businesswoman in El Paso, only to discover that she is entangled in a dangerous enterprise.
