A terrifying incident unfolded at a music festival near Leipzig, Germany, on Saturday evening when a Ferris wheel caught fire, resulting in multiple injuries.

According to reports, over two dozen people sustained injuries in the blaze, with two individuals in serious condition. The incident was reported by DW, Germany’s public broadcaster, which cited information from police and the German Red Cross.

Most of the injuries were due to mild smoke inhalation, but the fire also left four people with burns. Among the injured were four police officers, and one person suffered injuries from a fall, according to France’s AFP news agency.
