As preparations for the Chelan County Fair intensify, country music star Easton Corbin is set to headline the event, promising a performance infused with his trademark traditional sound.
Corbin, hailing from Trenton, Florida, is renowned for his chart-topping hits such as “All Over the Road” and “A Little More Country Than That.” Known for his dedication to performing in small towns, Corbin relishes the opportunity to connect with audiences in a variety of settings.
“Every venue has its own personality,” Corbin said. “Whether it’s a county fair, a club, or a theater, it’s all a bit different. What remains constant is that people are there to enjoy themselves and listen to country music, and that’s what we’re going to deliver.”
Corbin’s passion for rural performances is deeply rooted in his own upbringing on a cattle farm, where he was involved in 4-H and FFA. His connection to agricultural communities influences his music, reflecting his pride in his rural background. He observes that while major cities often overshadow smaller communities, places like North Central Washington mirror his own experiences.
“I grew up on a cattle farm and take pride in my music being true to who I am and where I come from,” he noted. “A lot of farming and outdoor activities go on in Washington State, and it’s important to acknowledge these rural areas.”
At the Chelan County Fair, Corbin plans to deliver a dynamic setlist, featuring his greatest hits, new releases, and some classic covers.
“We’ll perform all our hits, include some new songs from our latest project, and possibly add a few covers,” he said. “If fans request a song, we’ll make an effort to include it. It’s all about giving the fans what they want.”
Corbin’s commitment to engaging with his audience ensures a memorable experience for fans, whether they are familiar with his music or new to his sound.
