Asbury Park Brewery has announced a new collaboration with the US rock band The Gaslight Anthem, unveiling a hazy IPA named “Stay Lucky.” The beer, featuring an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 6.5%, is described by the brewery as having “aromas of peach and mango.” It will be available in four-packs of 16-ounce cans exclusively at the brewery’s tasting room, with sales continuing until supplies are depleted.

In a statement to the drinks business, Brian Fallon, lead vocalist of The Gaslight Anthem, expressed enthusiasm for the project. “We’ve admired Asbury Park Brewery for quite some time and had been contemplating a collaboration. Given their local roots, we wanted to create something enjoyable for both our fans and theirs,” Fallon said.

The name “Stay Lucky” is derived from a track on The Gaslight Anthem’s 2010 album, American Slang. The collaboration was inspired by Fallon’s recent praise for the brewery’s Sea Dragon IPA and aligns with the band’s performance at The Stone Pony Summer Stage.

Fallon also noted, “The timing is ideal as they recently opened a new location in May, making it convenient for everyone to purchase the cans directly from the brewery.”

A portion of the proceeds from the “Stay Lucky” IPA will support Red House Music & Rehearsal Studio, a New Jersey-based music school, highlighting the partnership’s commitment to giving back to the music community.

This collaboration marks Asbury Park Brewery’s fourth limited-edition beer created in partnership with musicians.
