Country music sensation Thomas Rhett is set to deliver a full-length benefit concert following the Cincinnati Reds game on Thursday night. The performance will take place at Great American Ball Park immediately after the Reds face off against the Oakland Athletics.
The game is scheduled to begin at 5:10 p.m., and all fans with tickets to the game are welcome to stay for the concert. A limited number of game tickets and Pit Field Packages for the concert are still available for purchase on the Reds’ official website, Reds.com.
A portion of the proceeds from each game ticket sold will go to Love One International, a charity championed by Rhett and his wife. The organization is dedicated to providing life-saving medical care and family preservation services for children and families in Uganda.
As Cincinnati continues to experience extreme heat this week, the Reds have issued reminders to concert-goers to bring unopened plastic water bottles to the ballpark. They are also encouraged to utilize misting stations and “cool rooms” located around Great American Ball Park and to seek out Reds staff for medical assistance if needed.
