Country music star Russell Dickerson took to social platform X on Wednesday to give fans a sneak peek of his upcoming song, “Those Nights These Days.” The track, which Dickerson describes as an ode to cherished memories with friends, reflects on the past with a blend of nostalgia and celebration.
In a video shared with his followers, Dickerson explained the inspiration behind the song: “It’s about missing the homies. Those nights, these days. Sometimes you just think about those nights. And you’re missing them these days. The good times, the great memories, that’ll last forever.”
“Those Nights These Days” is an upbeat anthem that toasts to the good old days, filled with the camaraderie and unforgettable moments that stand the test of time. In the preview clip, Dickerson sings, “I’ve been thinking about those nights these days/ Wish I was drinking those beers we raised/ Singing some of those songs we sang/ Thinking about those nights these days/ Watching the stars shooting across that sky/ Making a wish to go back in time.”
Fans won’t have to wait long to hear the full track, as “Those Nights These Days” will be featured on Dickerson’s new Bones EP, set to release this Friday. The EP is available for presave now.
