Jelly Roll is gearing up for an exciting fall as he prepares for several significant events in his career. He will take center stage for the premiere of the 50th season of “Saturday Night Live,” and his highly anticipated album, “Beautifully Broken,” releases on October 11. Additionally, Jelly Roll has received three nominations for the upcoming CMA Awards, a notable achievement for last year’s Best New Artist.
In an emotional post, Jelly reflected on his journey, sharing a video of his acceptance speech for the Best New Artist award at the 2023 CMAs. “Winning the New Artist award was one of the most special moments of my life,” he wrote, recalling the excitement that kept him awake for days. This year, he is nominated for Album of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year—the latter marking his first nomination for the highest honor in country music.
“Now to come back this year with these nominations is mind-blowing,” he expressed. “I don’t take these nominations lightly and have carried my New Artist of the Year award as a badge of honor.”
The 58th Annual CMA Awards will be held on November 20 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, airing live on ABC from 8 to 11 p.m. ET, with the full show available for streaming on Hulu the following day.
