Fans of country music can celebrate as the Texas Country Music Festival confirms its return for 2025. Despite its name suggesting a nod to the southern U.S. state, the festival actually takes place in Australia’s Texas, a town located on the border of New South Wales and Queensland, roughly four hours from Brisbane.

The festival, a staple for fans of both traditional and contemporary country music, spans four days and includes not just music but also bush poetry performances. Organizers announced the event’s renewal with a promise of “another unforgettable weekend of incredible live music, fun activities for all ages, and the best festival vibes!”

Although the lineup for 2025 has yet to be revealed, camping dates have been confirmed from September 24-28, with the main festival activities scheduled from September 25-27. This year’s event, held at the end of September, featured well-known artists such as Amber Lawrence, Taylor Moss, and Jayne Denham, as well as performances from Paul Costa, rising talent Tyla Rodrigues, and Peter “Smokie” Dawson. The festival was headlined by Australian singer-songwriter Travis Collins, drawing enthusiastic crowds and leaving fans eager for next year’s festivities.
