Country music star Brantley Gilbert had an unforgettable night during his performance in Tupelo, Mississippi, on Friday. Midway through the concert, Gilbert paused the show to assist in the delivery of his newborn son.
Four songs into his set, Gilbert left the stage for about an hour to help his wife welcome their third child on their tour bus. In a moment that could be straight out of a movie, the singer returned to the stage, visibly emotional, and announced to the cheering crowd, “We got a baby Mississippi.”
Gilbert’s band embraced him with hugs and high-fives as the audience erupted in applause. After the heartfelt moment, the country star resumed the show, making it a night both he and his fans won’t soon forget.
