Country Music Association of Australia Brings Back Achiever Awards

by Barbara

The Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA) has announced the return of its Achiever Awards, which honor individuals or groups who have made significant contributions to Australian country music. These non-competitive awards recognize both contemporary and legacy artists who have impacted the genre.

The award recipients will be announced on Saturday, November 16, with the formal presentations scheduled for Saturday, November 23, at the Achiever Awards Presentation Night at JMC Academy in Sydney. The evening will include award ceremonies and acoustic performances by various artists.

In addition to the awards, the CMAA will host an Industry Symposium on the same day as the presentation. The symposium, featuring discussions with notable country music figures like Allan Caswell, Nardia Drayton, Will Day, and others, will start at 12 p.m. AEDT and lead into the awards event, which begins at 7 p.m. and is expected to conclude around 10 p.m.
