The rich scent of smoked meats and the lively sounds of country music will soon fill Old Celina Park, as the fourth annual Troubadour Festival returns to Celina, Texas. Billed as Texas’ largest barbecue and country music event, the festival will showcase the best of both worlds on October 19.
“This is the ultimate barbecue and music experience,” said Chase Colston, co-owner and promoter of the festival. “We bring together top barbecue restaurants from all over Texas and pair it with the best Texas red dirt music on two stages.”
This year, the festival will feature barbecue from 40 renowned Texas joints, along with three out-of-state vendors from Tennessee, California, and Connecticut. Popular restaurants such as 1701 Barbecue, North Texas Smoke, Heritage Barbecue, Blake’s at Southern Milling, and Hoodoo Brown Barbecue are among those serving up their signature flavors.
With four ticket options available, two levels offer guests the chance to sample barbecue from all participating vendors until 3:30 p.m., with additional meat available for purchase. For music fans, there are two types of music-only tickets as well.
Tickets start at $60, and the festival will be held at Old Celina Park, located at 12670 FM 428.
