Country music sensation Morgan Wallen is set to launch his own three-day music festival, Sand in My Boots, in Gulf Shores, Alabama, from May 16-18, 2025. Teaming up with AEG Presents, the producers behind major festivals like Stagecoach and Hangout Music Festival, Wallen’s event will take place at the same beachfront venue that hosts the annual Hangout Festival.
The festival is named after Wallen’s 2022 hit single “Sand in My Boots,” which topped the Billboard Country Airplay charts. While the full lineup and ticketing details are yet to be revealed, Wallen promises a multi-genre mix featuring some of his closest friends, favorite artists, and musicians he has long dreamed of performing with.
This isn’t Wallen’s first foray into festival curation. Earlier this year, he and fellow country star Eric Church co-founded the Field & Stream Music Festival in South Carolina, which was postponed due to Hurricane Helene. Wallen and Church had partnered on the festival as part of their acquisition of the outdoor lifestyle brand Field & Stream, blending their passion for music and the outdoors.
Fans can expect more details on Sand in My Boots in the coming weeks, as anticipation builds for Wallen’s first solo festival venture along Alabama’s scenic coastline.
