Rihanna has revealed her admiration for Billie Eilish, naming the singer as her dream collaborator during a recent interview with an 11-year-old journalist at the launch event for her new Fenty x Puma collection. “If I could only do a song with Billie Eilish. She’s so good,” RiRi stated, showcasing her enthusiasm for the young artist.
Fans of Rihanna have been eagerly awaiting new music, as she has not released an album since “Anti” in 2016, which spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and included hit singles like “Work,” featuring Drake. Her collaboration with Bryson Tiller on DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts” also reached No. 2 in July 2017. More recently, just before headlining the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, she released “Lift Me Up” for the soundtrack of Marvel’s “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
In addition to her musical aspirations, Rihanna announced she is starting fresh with her long-awaited ninth studio album. “Yeah, I’m starting over,” she told Entertainment Tonight. The beauty mogul plans to revisit her previous work with a new perspective, stating, “I actually want to go back and listen to stuff with new ears, with my new perspective and then see what applies and what I’m still in love with.”
