Summer Walker has dropped her latest single, “Heart of a Woman,” on Friday, October 25, via LVRN and Interscope Records. This track serves as the lead single from her highly anticipated third studio album, Finally Over It.
Continuing the narrative from her previous albums—2019’s Over It and 2021’s Still Over It—Walker’s new LP promises to explore themes of love and resilience. Both of her earlier works achieved significant success, topping Billboard’s Top R&B/ Hip-Hop Albums chart, with Still Over It also reaching the pinnacle of the Billboard 200.
In a teaser video shared on Instagram earlier this month, the Atlanta-born R&B artist is depicted in a hot pink robe, emerging from the shower while listening to voicemail messages filled with emotional pleas from a loved one. The dramatic moment culminates with Walker shattering a glass in her hand, underscoring the song’s intensity. Accompanying the teaser, she captioned, “Finally Over It. Call me before I change my number 404-476-6404,” and subsequently released the audio titled “+1(404) 476-6404” on digital streaming platforms.
