Bracebridge is set to welcome the Americana and alt-country trio The Redhill Valleys on November 23, following the release of their latest single, “Ready To Roll,” on October 25.
Emerging onto the Canadian music scene in 2016, The Redhill Valleys have captivated audiences with their powerful harmonies, rootsy guitar riffs, and evocative lyrics. Hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, the trio consists of Chelsea McWilliams (bass and vocals), Tim Allard (lead guitar and vocals), and Matt Soliveri (drums). Drawing inspiration from iconic artists like Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Neil Young, The Band, and Fleetwood Mac, their country music embodies a nostalgic yet fresh sound.
Their new single, available through MDM Recordings Inc./ADA Canada, delves into the complexities of romantic relationships. With evocative lines such as “You wanna go all in? You better raise the stakes. You wanna go for a ride? Get your foot off the brakes,” the track captures the intensity and uncertainty of a burgeoning connection, highlighting the importance of commitment and the courage to embrace risks.
To mark this release, The Redhill Valleys are embarking on a series of performances across Ontario, joining The Washboard Union on their Grab The Wheel and Go Tour. The band is set to perform as part of the Country-fied Muskoka lineup at the Speakeasy at Muskoka Foundry.
