Al Greenwood, co-founder of the iconic band Foreigner, experienced a wave of nostalgia and excitement at the recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony held in Cleveland. The event, which took place on October 19, celebrated legendary artists including Dionne Warwick, Cher, Peter Frampton, Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Matthews, and Kool & The Gang.
At 72 years old, Greenwood was visibly moved by the occasion, expressing his admiration for the fellow inductees. “These are legends that I’ve looked up to, all being inducted at the same time,” he said. “It was fantastically spectacular. We were all brought up around the same time, listening to the same things on the radio. I’m a fan of music, whatever it is.”
