The third annual GoldenSky Country Music Festival welcomed more than 75,000 attendees to Discovery Park in Sacramento, California, over the weekend of October 18–20.
This year’s festival expanded to three days, featuring over 35 performances on two stages, with headliners including Keith Urban, Thomas Rhett, and Luke Bryan. Other notable acts included the Turnpike Troubadours, Riley Green, Bailey Zimmerman, Elle King, Gabby Barrett, Ashley McBryde, Clint Black, and the GoldenSky Rising Star competition winner, Burke. A standout moment occurred on Saturday, October 19, when Riley Green joined Thomas Rhett on stage for their duet, “Half Of Me.”
In addition to the music, festival-goers enjoyed the GoldenSky Beer Festival, which offered over 150 samples of craft beer, hard seltzer, and cider each day from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Attendees could also participate in line dancing lessons and partner two-stepping at The River City Dance Hall & Saloon. Local culinary offerings were highlighted at The Farmhouse, presented by the California Farm Bureau, featuring dishes from Urban Roots Brewing & Smokehouse, Mulvaney’s B&L, Druthers Sutter Park, and Jayna Gyro, showcasing the best of Sacramento and the Central Valley.
