The Funeral Portrait

Emo rock band The Funeral Portrait is set to electrify audiences at The Ritz Theater in Scranton on November 8. Known for their theatrical flair and commitment to anthemic, high-energy rock, the Atlanta-based outfit has been touring tirelessly since their formation in 2014.

With a reputation for opening for major acts like Marilyn Manson, Shinedown, and Five Finger Death Punch, The Funeral Portrait has made a significant mark in the music scene. They’ve performed at prominent festivals such as Louder Than Life and Aftershock, and have gained recognition from Alternative Press as one of the “100 Bands You Need to Know.” Their music has received airplay on SiriusXM’s “Octane” and has been featured in episodes of “All Elite Wrestling.”

As part of their fall tour promoting their latest record, The Funeral Portrait will take the stage at The Ritz Theater (222 Wyoming Ave., Scranton), with doors opening at 6 p.m. The lineup includes local melodic post-hardcore group So Much Hope, the metalcore quartet For the Better, and another opening act yet to be announced. Tickets are priced at $9.79 and are available for purchase via Eventbrite.
