Country music icon Sam Hunt is gearing up to release a brand new track titled “Liberty” this Friday, marking his first new music since the April release of his Locked Up EP.

A preview clip of “Liberty” has been shared on Hunt’s social media platforms, showcasing poignant lyrics: “Had a dream that I was eight years older/ Burying the dog with my eight-year-old/ We were looking for areas where the creeks meet/ Blue skies on a nice day/ He said, ‘Look, Daddy, it’s a bald eagle.'”

Fans can catch the snippet on Hunt’s TikTok and are encouraged to presave “Liberty” to ensure they can listen to the full song as soon as it drops.
