Iconic metal music band Slayer will headline the 2025 Louder Than Life music festival in Louisville, marking a highly anticipated return after a previous cancellation. The band was originally slated to perform on the second day of the 2024 festival, celebrating its 10th anniversary. However, on September 27, remnants of Hurricane Helene forced concert promoter Danny Wimmer Presents to cancel the entire lineup for that day, disappointing fans who had traveled to Kentucky specifically for Slayer’s reunion.
Now, fans can rejoice as the concert promoter has confirmed Slayer’s return for the 2025 festival, scheduled to take place from September 18 to 21 at the Highland Festival Ground at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
