Sydney-born country music singer-songwriter Rachael Fahim is making waves in the country-pop scene with her latest single, “Dance Around It.” The song captures the essence of heartbreak, infused with a sense of hopeful optimism often seen through rose-colored glasses.
Fahim teased the track on social media earlier this week, followed by a clip of her performing the chorus with an acoustic guitar on October 31. This release marks a new chapter for the artist, who is debuting under Island Records after nearly nine years with Top Dog Recordings.
Recently, Fahim has been on the road, supporting fellow artist Dean Lewis during a substantial 12-date tour across Australia. Following a performance at Riverstage in Brisbane on Halloween, she and Lewis are set to take the stage together this weekend at Sydney’s ICC Theatre, with tickets available online.
In addition to her tour with Lewis, Fahim will embark on her own headlining tour for “Dance Around It” in January, featuring support from Missy Lancaster.
