Country music rising star Erik Hawks, a University of Mount Olive (UMO) alumnus and recent recipient of the Carolina Country Music Association’s Male Artist of the Year award, is set to perform during UMO’s Fall Festival at this year’s Homecoming Weekend. Hawks will take the stage on Saturday, November 16, from 2:45 to 3:15 PM, delivering an exciting set that promises to captivate audiences with his blend of Southern charm and heartfelt country music.
Known for his emotionally rich lyrics and deep-rooted connection to country legends like Vince Gill and Chris Stapleton, Hawks is sure to bring a unique, soul-stirring performance to the UMO community. His appearance is part of a full afternoon of music, with the festival running from noon to 6:30 PM and featuring a variety of performances from genres ranging from contemporary Christian to bluegrass.
The diverse lineup includes acts such as Consumed by Fire and Caleb and John, as well as bluegrass ensemble Luke Shamblin & Friends.
