Rosé of K-pop group Blackpink continues to shine on the British Official Singles Top 100 chart, securing the No. 3 spot for her latest single, “APT.” The song, a collaboration with American pop icon Bruno Mars, marks its third consecutive week in the top 10.
While it slipped one position from last week’s No. 2 spot, “APT.” remains ahead of Gracie Abrams’ “That’s So True” and Gigi Perez’s “Sailor Song” in the latest rankings. Since its debut at No. 4 last month, the track made a remarkable climb to No. 2, setting a new record as the highest-charting song by a female K-pop artist in the UK.
“APT.” serves as a pre-release from Rosé’s eagerly awaited first full-length album, rosie, set to drop on December 6. Inspired by the popular Korean drinking game “apartment game,” the upbeat pop-punk track has captivated listeners worldwide with its catchy chorus featuring the Korean abbreviation of “apartment.”
The single has also seen impressive success in the U.S., reaching No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. The music video, which features both Rosé and Mars, became the fastest video by a female K-pop soloist to hit 200 million views, accomplishing the feat in just 11 days.
