JUNO Award winner and Stereos frontman Delta Sweet is stepping into the country music spotlight with his debut solo single, “Outta Money, Outta Mind.” The track blends the nostalgic sound of ’90s country with modern production, offering a fresh and compelling introduction to Sweet’s new country audience.
Produced by country artist Dan Davidson and featuring a music video directed by CCMA Award-winner Travis Nesbitt, “Outta Money, Outta Mind” marks Sweet’s most country-leaning release to date. The song combines classic country storytelling with upbeat, hook-driven production, evoking the spirit of iconic underdog anthems like Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places.”
“I want to establish what I consider to be my sound, and this song is exactly that,” Sweet shares. “I was inspired by the country music I grew up listening to, especially from the ’90s. There was a lightheartedness to many of those songs, and I wanted to capture that sense of fun while embracing the underdog spirit.”
