Legendary rock artists Alice Cooper, Rob Halford, and Slash are among the stars featured on Solid Rock Revival, a new children’s music album set for release in August. The album, produced by the Norelli Family Foundation, has already earned a Grammy nomination for “Best Children’s Music Album.”
The full-length studio project is led by the ROCK FOR CHILDREN band, which includes contributions from Cooper, Halford (of Judas Priest), Slash (of Guns N’ Roses), and Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of Run DMC. The album features revamped classics and fresh tracks aimed at introducing young audiences to the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll.
Proceeds from album sales, as well as from live performances and special events, will benefit the Norelli Family Foundation and Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock charity, which supports youth music programs in Phoenix, Arizona.
