Tyler, The Creator’s latest track “Sticky,” featuring GloRilla, SexxyRed, and Lil Wayne, has surged to the top of Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, dethroning his own song, “St. Chroma,” which had held the No. 1 spot.

“Sticky” rocketed from No. 3 to No. 1 on the chart for the week ending November 7, driven by an impressive 20.9 million official streams, 1,000 sales downloads, and 726,000 airplay impressions in the U.S., according to data from Luminate. The track’s dominance marks a significant achievement for Tyler, making him the 16th artist in the chart’s 66-year history to replace themselves at the top. He is also the first to do so since 21 Savage in December 2022.

In addition to ruling the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, “Sticky” has taken the No. 1 spot on the all-genre Streaming Songs chart, displacing “St. Chroma.” The song also saw significant moves on the Hot Rap Songs chart, leaping from No. 3 to No. 1, and climbing from No. 14 to No. 10 on the overall Billboard Hot 100.

The success of “Sticky” not only marks Tyler’s second No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, but also signifies milestones for his collaborators: GloRilla and SexxyRed each scored their first-ever chart-toppers, while Lil Wayne celebrated his 12th No. 1.
