London-based Dublin outfit Tayne has officially announced the release of their highly anticipated debut album LOVE, slated for January 31st via MNRK / Inside Job. In conjunction with the album announcement, the band has dropped their latest single, “Fear,” a heavy, aggressive track that channels a dark, industrial energy reminiscent of Nine Inch Nails and Boy Harsher.
Featuring guest vocals from one of the UK’s most influential heavy bands, Rolo Tomassi, “Fear” tackles the universal theme of being consumed by anxiety and the ways it can dictate our decisions. Frontman Matt Sutton explains, “Sonically speaking, this track felt like we were simply serving the song. ‘Fear’ is self-explanatory—it’s about being afraid, letting fear dominate our choices, and letting it win.”
Tayne’s rise continues with an exciting addition to the lineup of ArcTanGent Festival, the UK’s premier event for math rock, post-rock, progressive metal, and experimental music. The festival will also feature performances from Rolo Tomassi, The Melvins, Between The Buried and Me, The Fall of Troy, and many more.
Fans of Tayne can expect LOVE to deliver more of the raw energy and emotive intensity showcased in “Fear,” setting the stage for a thrilling debut album.
