GRAMMY Award-winning artist Darius Rucker has been announced as the third headliner for the upcoming Voices of America Country Music Festival. Festival organizers revealed on Friday that Rucker will take the stage as the main act on Thursday night, marking his debut at the annual event.
The 2024 festival, set to run from August 7-10, will also feature previously announced headliners Bailey Zimmerman and HARDY. Additional headliners are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
Rucker, who first gained fame as the lead singer and guitarist for the multi-Platinum band Hootie & the Blowfish, transitioned to country music in 2008 with the release of his debut solo album. Since then, he has achieved significant acclaim, earning multiple GRAMMY Awards and solidifying his place in country music history.
Organizers anticipate that next year’s four-day festival will surpass previous years in size and impact, promising an unforgettable celebration of country music.
