The Las Vegas Strip continues to be a hotspot for major entertainment residencies, drawing massive crowds with iconic artists. Among the latest to take the stage at Sphere Las Vegas is The Eagles, the legendary rock band that had announced their retirement from touring in 2024. However, fans were thrilled when the band kicked off a sold-out residency at the venue on September 20, 2024.
Following a successful run by U2’s 40-show residency earlier in 2023, Sphere has hosted other A-list acts, including Phish, Dead & Company, and The Eagles, all of whom have enjoyed sold-out performances. The Eagles’ residency, which spans 28 shows with no designated final date, promises to be another massive draw for the venue.
Other big names such as Lady Gaga, Shania Twain, Adele, and New Edition have also enjoyed successful residencies on The Strip, with New Edition adding six new shows to their Encore Theater residency in February 2025, continuing the trend of sold-out performances that define the Las Vegas entertainment scene.
