Progressive metal giants Jinjer have just dropped their explosive new single, “Green Serpent,” along with an intense music video, marking the band’s return to the scene ahead of their highly anticipated fifth studio album, Duél. The album is slated for release on February 7, 2025, via Napalm Records.
Directed by Vicente Cordero, the video for “Green Serpent” showcases the band’s signature blend of heavy grooves and technical precision. The release follows the success of their 2021 chart-topping album Wallflowers, which was hailed by critics as one of the year’s most essential metal releases. Kerrang! (UK) described it as “one of the finest – and most important – metal albums of 2021,” while New Noise Magazine (US) dubbed it a “progressive masterpiece.”
Since their breakthrough, Jinjer has solidified its reputation as a powerhouse in the metal world, performing at major festivals like Wacken, Download, and Rock am Ring.
