Auckland is set to welcome a powerhouse lineup of rock talent next February as the inaugural Paradise City Rock Festival takes over The Trusts Arena. New Zealand’s own alternative-metal titans, Blindspott, will headline the event, joined by a diverse mix of local and international acts.
The festival, scheduled for February 5, 2025, will feature five homegrown bands, including Whanganui’s Pull Down the Sun, who recently signed with Berlin-based label Pelagic Records, and Auckland-based acts Written By Wolves, The Boondocks, and Flirting with Disaster. The international flavor of the lineup is highlighted by California’s Alien Ant Farm, best known for their chart-topping cover of Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal.
Joining them on stage will be Texas metal outfit Drowning Pool and Melbourne punk rockers 28 Days, completing a high-energy roster that promises a night of unforgettable performances.
With Blindspott leading the charge, the Paradise City Rock Festival will be a celebration of both local talent and global rock icons, marking a new chapter for Auckland’s live music scene.
