Gary Barlow, the celebrated British songwriter and Take That legend, has announced the dates for his Songbook Tour 2025, a new solo tour set to showcase his vast catalog of hits from both his solo career and his time with Take That. The tour will make a stop at the Gleneagle INEC Arena in Killarney, Ireland, on April 20, 2025.
The Songbook Tour will honor Barlow’s four-decade-long career, celebrating his status as one of the UK’s most successful songwriters and record producers. As a member of Take That, Barlow has won eight BRIT Awards and sold over 45 million records. The tour will feature fan-favorite songs from his extensive repertoire, including Take That’s iconic hits like “Back For Good,” which celebrates its 30th anniversary in March 2025.
“Back For Good,” one of the band’s most beloved songs, spent four weeks at No. 1 on the UK charts in 1995 and remains one of the UK’s favorite pop songs of all time.
This announcement comes on the heels of a highly successful 2023 world tour with Take That, which sold over one million tickets and saw the band perform to packed arenas worldwide. The band also released This Life, their 12th No. 1 album in the UK, and hosted The Greatest Weekend, a four-day festival in Malta that included a live performance of their 1993 album Everything Changes in its entirety.
Beyond his work with Take That, Gary Barlow has written and produced music for global superstars such as Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Elton John, Robbie Williams, and most recently JIN from BTS, who recorded his song “Running Wild.”
Additionally, Barlow’s wine brand, Gary Barlow Wines, continues to grow in popularity, recently celebrating its third anniversary with the release of the ITV series Gary Barlow’s Wine Tour: South Africa, exploring his passion for wine and travel.
With a career spanning over 40 years and a legacy of timeless music, Gary Barlow’s Songbook Tour promises to be a spectacular celebration of his incredible journey in the music industry. Fans can expect an unforgettable evening of hits, stories, and personal moments from one of Britain’s most successful musical icons.
