Luke Bryan has announced an exciting new cross-genre collaboration with pop singer Teddy Swims and rapper Quavo, dropping their anthemic track “Georgia Ways” this December. The song celebrates their shared Georgia roots, with all three artists hailing from the Peach State—Luke from Leesburg, Teddy from Conyers, and Quavo from Athens.
The announcement came Wednesday, alongside a teaser of the song, which features a catchy opening: “G-E-O-R-G-I-A/ Where I B-E baby let me hear you say.” The chorus, sung by all three artists, declares, “That’s just how I was raised/ Stuck in my Georgia ways/ Don’t care about what you say/ Some s*** won’t never change.”
Teddy Swims, known for his soulful pop vocals, has made recent strides in country music, including a performance alongside Thomas Rhett at the 2024 CMA Awards. He also co-wrote Rhett’s hit “Angels (Don’t Always Have Wings)” and collaborated with him on “Broke” in 2020.
“Georgia Ways” will be available on all digital platforms starting December 6th, and fans can expect a unique blend of country, pop, and hip-hop influences from this all-star trio.
