The Beckley Concert Association is shaking up its usual venue lineup this season, hosting the acclaimed duo Twin Kennedy at the historic Beckley Presbyterian Church on Thursday, December 5, at 7:30 p.m.
Comprised of sisters Carli and Julie Kennedy, Twin Kennedy blends country, folk, jazz, and classical influences into a captivating musical experience. Originally from Powell River, British Columbia, the duo began their musical journey as a family band, honing their harmonies and live performance skills in their hometown. Now based in Nashville, the sisters have gained recognition for their dynamic stage presence and genre-crossing sound.
Community Outreach Performance: As part of their visit, Twin Kennedy will perform a special preview concert for the Raleigh County Commission on Aging earlier in the day. This intimate session will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the Commission’s location on 1614 S. Kanawha St., offering seniors a taste of the evening’s performance.
