The HKGNA Music Festival 2024 is set to unite diverse musical worlds on a single stage, celebrating Hong Kong’s vibrant arts scene while showcasing rising talents across genres. This year’s festival bridges classical music, Canto-pop, and K-pop, creating a unique cultural exchange that highlights the city’s global influence as an arts hub.
A collaborative effort between the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the Hong Kong Office of the Government in Beijing and Tianjin, and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong, the festival promises to deliver an unforgettable experience blending East and West, tradition and modernity.
“HKGNA Music Festival 2024 is a testament to Hong Kong’s status as a global arts and cultural hub,” said Ms. Michelle Kim, founder of HKGNA. “By bringing together the best of classical, Canto-pop, and K-pop on one stage, we aim to inspire and empower the next generation of musical talents, while showcasing the city’s vibrant and diverse cultural landscape.”
One of the festival’s most anticipated moments is the world-premiere duet between Canto-pop star Hins Cheung and K-pop icon Sung Si-Kyung, set to take place on November 29 at AXA x Wonderland. The following day, Cheung will return to the stage, this time performing alongside the Hong Kong Children’s Choir and the Hong Kong Youth Orchestra.
The HKGNA Music Festival 2024 promises a dynamic celebration of music, culture, and collaboration, offering a platform for Hong Kong’s next-generation artists to shine on the global stage.
