Hip-hop legends Cypress Hill are set to return to Berlin for an unforgettable performance at the Citadel Music Festival on July 9, 2025. The historic Spandau Citadel will play host to the iconic US rap group, marking one of their exclusive tour stops in Germany next summer. This Berlin show is part of a limited five-date German tour that will also visit Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich, and Bonn.
Formed in the early 1990s, Cypress Hill—comprised of B-Real, Sen Dog, and DJ Muggs—have had an indelible impact on both hip-hop and global pop culture. Their 1991 debut album, featuring the iconic hit How I Could Just Kill A Man, helped define their signature blend of hip-hop beats, Latin influences, and hard-hitting rhymes. The release of Black Sunday in 1993, which included the chart-topping Insane in the Brain, cemented their place in hip-hop history, earning them triple platinum status and multiple GRAMMY nominations.
The group has continued to innovate and evolve with albums like Elephants on Acid (2018) and Back in Black (2022), proving their enduring relevance in the hip-hop scene today.
