Country music legend Tracy Lawrence made a significant impact this holiday season, raising $250,000 at his 19th annual Mission:Possible Turkey Fry and Benefit Concert in Nashville. The event, which kicked off the holiday week at the Nashville Fairgrounds, was a powerful demonstration of community support and generosity.
Lawrence, along with 300 volunteers, helped cook over 1,600 turkeys on-site, while an additional 1,000 frozen turkeys were distributed to food shelters across Middle Tennessee. This effort resulted in a record-breaking 25,000 meals provided to those in need.
The charitable evening continued with a star-studded benefit concert at Luke Combs’ Category 10, where Lawrence was joined by fellow artists Russell Dickerson, Meghan Patrick, John Schneider, and Halfway To Hazard. The concert raised another $250,000, which will go toward supporting the Nashville Rescue Mission, a longstanding partner of Mission:Possible.
“I love to be in an industry and a town that cares so much about its citizens,” Lawrence said during the concert. “To see the hundreds of volunteers show up year after year—many of whom have been here since day one—means the world to me. We should all be proud of the wonderful city that we live in.”
The event attracted an impressive lineup of country stars, including Charles Esten, Terri Clark, Clint Black, Maddie Font of Maddie & Tae, Chase Matthew, Trey Lewis, Lori Morgan, and Frank Ray, who all volunteered to assist with the turkey fry.
For the third consecutive year, the benefit concert raised $250,000, making it the largest amount ever collected at the event. This year’s success is a testament to the generosity and spirit of both the Nashville music community and its residents.
