Tyler Hubbard brought his “Strong World Tour” to a raucous close at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium, celebrating his success as a solo artist since his split from Florida Georgia Line in 2022. The former FGL member, known for hits like “Cruise” and “This Is How We Roll,” has charted new territory with his solo career, earning top 10 hits like “5 Foot 9” and “Dancin’ In The Country.”
The concert, Hubbard’s 95th and final show of the tour, was a homecoming of sorts for the singer, who acknowledged Nashville as his true home. “It feels so good to be home,” Hubbard said, expressing gratitude for his roots and the vibrant music scene that’s propelled his solo journey.
Opening for Hubbard was Alana Springsteen, whose genre-blending style between pop and country music made for a dynamic performance. Springsteen, who was performing at the Ryman for the first time, delivered a mix of pop-infused country tracks, including a remix of her hit “look i like” with Taylor Swift’s “Style,” and a nod to Katy Perry with “Teenage Dream.” She also celebrated her first RIAA gold album TWENTY SOMETHING, which was presented to her on stage.
As Hubbard took over the stage, he showcased an energetic set, including songs like “Park” and “A Lot With A Little,” complemented by dynamic backup dancers. Reflecting on his rise to success, Hubbard shared how the “small-town” experience connects people across the country, no matter their background. “There’s a whole lot of people that do life just like we do,” Hubbard noted, highlighting the universal appeal of his music.
In addition to tracks from his solo albums, Hubbard treated the crowd to acoustic renditions of songs he co-wrote for other artists, like Jason Aldean’s “You Make It Easy” and HARDY’s “PSYCHO.” Hubbard also performed the unreleased song “Land” and his chart-topping collaboration with Bebe Rexha, “Meant to Be,” a track he credits to his wife’s influence.
The night also featured an emotional gospel performance of “Way Home” with Blessing Offor, transforming the Ryman into an intimate church-like experience. Hubbard and Offor’s powerful vocals had the audience raising their hands in a moment of unity and reflection.
To end the evening, the Ryman turned into a dance party with a high-energy performance of “Dancin’ In The Country,” which had fans jumping in the aisles. Hubbard promised the Nashville crowd, “I’ll see you at Bridgestone next year,” leaving fans excited for his next big Nashville show.
With a perfect blend of country, pop, and even a little rap, Hubbard’s final night of the “Strong World Tour” was an unforgettable celebration of his musical evolution, and his undeniable connection to Nashville and its vibrant country music community.
